A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Azure, within a border Argent a sprig of oak fructed bendwise Proper, surmounted by a Lorraine Cross of the second. Attached below the shield a Silver scroll inscribed CROSS AND OAK in Blue letters.
As the 364th Infantry shares equally in the history and honors of the former 367th Infantry, the crest to the arms of the former 367th Infantry has been placed on a shield within a white border to denote the descent from the parent organization. Service in World War I is represented by the oak symbolizing the Argonne and the cross symbolizing Lorraine.
The distinctive unit insignia was originally approved for the 364th Infantry Regiment on 7 December 1942. It was amended to revise the description on 13 February 1943. The insignia was redesignated for the 367th Infantry Regiment with the description updated on 30 August 1999.
